Atom,

It is not our policy to publish service bulletins.

If you think about it for a moment, I think you will understand why.

There are many types of bugs, let's call them "A", "B" and "C" bugs. "A" bugs are the "operational" bugs not unlike what you have experienced, but even the "bug" you found is remedied when the voice (and performance) is stored. "B" and "C" types are even more invisible to the normal user and have to do with ID requests, SYSEX implementation and the like. If this information was made public, even users that had no problems might suddenly "have problems".

We will confirm any bug that is referred to in a service bulletin (A types) with the user that experiences the "bug", and do our best to rectify the situation with a new OS or whatever. But to simply publish it and make it public is currently not our policy.

However, when an "A" type bug becomes common knowledge, we will be glad to confirm that the bug is fixed in a particular OS version. Such is the case currently with the arpeggiator in the S30/80/CS6x/R and version 1.61.

I hope you understand as this is the way it has been for a very long time.

Kindest regards,
xxxxx xxxxxxx
